Developer with Strong Data Engineering Skills – Python, SQL, GCP, Terraform & Snowflake

We’re looking for a developer with a solid foundation in data engineering and a passion for building systems that make complex data accessible, intuitive, and powerful. You’ll be part of creating a next-generation analytics platform that challenges the norms of how people interact with data—by making it smarter, faster, and more user-friendly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Engineering Impactful Tools: Build and maintain scalable tools and services—from backend infrastructure to user-facing features—that drive the core functionality of the analytics platform.
• Data Modeling & Architecture: Champion best practices in data modeling, metadata design, and semantic layers. You'll understand the value of structured data and how it powers insight.
• AI-Driven Analytics: Work with cutting-edge AI technologies, helping bridge the gap between concept and implementation to make analytics more intelligent and reliable.
• Cloud & Integration: Design cloud-native solutions and integrate systems like Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Hex to ensure seamless, real-time access to critical data.
• Team Collaboration: Be proactive in identifying opportunities, sharing ideas, reviewing code, and contributing to design discussions. You’ll help shape a culture of quality and innovation.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake or dbt, with a good understanding of modern data stack principles.
• Experience or interest in React and LLM agents—especially valuable if you’ve worked with frameworks and understand how to build around language models.
• A passion for making data easy to understand and use through clean, thoughtful interfaces and visualizations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s; PhD is a bonus but not required).
• At least 5 years of experience in software or data engineering, with a strong portfolio of production-level work.
