Brand Communications Specialist Nordics (Interim)

Are you passionate about brand storytelling, PR, and influencer marketing? We’re looking for a creative and organized Brand Communication Specialist to join our Nordic Marketing team for a one-year interim role (until 31st August 2026).

Based in Stockholm, you’ll be our local expert in Sweden – while working closely with teams across the Nordics to bring the Rituals experience to life.

As our local PR and influencer expert in Sweden, you will work closely with colleagues in Norway and Denmark as part of a dynamic, cross-market team dedicated to creating meaningful brand engagement. You will report operationally to our Team Lead in Norway, while your formal line manager will be the Nordic Head of Marketing based in Sweden.

Key responsibilities

As a Brand Communication Specialist, you will:

PR

Act as the primary point of contact for our PR agencies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Support them with requests, drive initiatives, and ensure follow-up and reporting.

Be the main liaison with our Global PR team at Rituals’ head office in Amsterdam

Lead the development and execution of a yearly Nordic PR plan, ensuring alignment with brand priorities.

Continuously optimize, streamline, and evaluate PR efforts across the region.

Influencer marketing & social media

Support influencer activations, primarily focused on Sweden, and collaborate with the Nordic team on broader campaigns.

Contribute to the planning and content creation for Rituals’ Nordic-owned social channels.

Local projects

Act as the Swedish market expert within the Brand Communication team and drive locally relevant communication initiatives.

Kravspecifikation

Key qualifications

Several years’ experience working with PR, ideally within the retail or beauty sector

Proven experience in planning and evaluating PR activities, preferably using tools like Meltwater

Familiarity with influencer marketing and social media management

Excellent communication skills; skilled in writing press releases, creating presentations, and maintaining daily professional dialogue

Highly organized and efficient in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities

Strong self-leadership with the ability to drive initiatives independently

Fluency in Swedish and English

Experience with Photoshop and InDesign

Bonus: Nordic market experience and understanding of Norwegian and Danish language.
