About the job

As EHS specialist you will lead our environmental, health, and safety efforts during a dynamic scale-up phase. You will ensure compliance with Swedish laws and international standards, contribute to a strong safety culture, and both be building up new ways of working and work with continuous improvement across our company.

Key Responsibilities

·Ensure compliance with Swedish Work Environment Authority (Arbetsmiljöverket) regulations and other applicable EHS requirements, including reporting to governments and other stakeholders.

·Build, improve and maintain our EHS management system across the whole company.

·Perform risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.

·Develop and implement safety- and emergency response procedures and drills.

·Manage chemical safety and refrigerant handling protocols.

·Report on EHS KPIs and present findings to QEHS manager

·Drive training programs and onboarding for co-workers.

·Collaborate with HR, production, maintenance and facilities on EHS topics.

·Create risk reduction strategies and follow up.

Qualifications

·University degree and/or +10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.

·Deep knowledge of Swedish- and EU EHS regulations.

·Knowledge and experience performing risk assessments, and incident investigations.

·Familiarity with refrigerants, chemical handling, or clean tech.

·Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).

·Ability to lead training and communicate effectively at all levels.

·Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

·Knowledge of sustainability concepts, including resource conservation, energy efficiency, and waste reduction strategies.

·Experience with ISO 14001/45001 is a merit.

·Experience working with TIA is a merit

·Experience in scale-up or high-growth production environments is a merit.
