O’Learys Group is looking for a visionary and results-driven Chief Business Expansion Officer (CBEO) to take the helm of our international expansion. In this role, you’ll lead the continued growth of our franchise network across both established and new markets — laying the strategic foundation for long-term success and profitability.

About the Role

As CBEO, you will lead O’Learys’ global expansion strategy from the front. Your focus will be to develop and implement scalable and profitable growth plans, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all markets. From negotiating franchise agreements to optimizing construction processes and facilitating financing, you will orchestrate every step of our expansion journey.

An essential part of your mission is to shape a highly attractive expansion model — one that naturally draws in the right franchisees and enables us to grow. You'll help build a framework where prospective franchisees seek out O’Learys — and where we are positioned to choose the best fit for our concept and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute OLG’s international expansion strategy, with focus on sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Strategically expand O’Learys through franchising, master franchise partnerships, and selected company-owned units.
  • Establish and manage a high-quality pipeline of potential partners, guiding them from interest to operational success.
  • Optimize construction processes to streamline timelines and reduce capital expenditure — without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with financial institutions to enable attractive and efficient financing solutions for franchise partners.
  • Work closely with the CEO, management team, and board to align decisions with long-term company objectives.
  • Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing expansion team that embodies OLG’s values and brand spirit.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience with personnel responsibility.
  • Documented success in expanding multi-unit concepts internationally.
  • Strong experience in franchise development and negotiations.
  • Proven ability to manage and improve construction or rollout processes.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working across international markets, with a deep understanding of brand scalability and market adaptation.
