This role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. You’ll also have the chance to travel to Horse Powertrain’s locations around the world, including the global headquarters in London, United Kingdom.

About your role

As a Corporate Finance Procurement Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing financial operations related to procurement activities across the company’s global divisions. Positioned within the Global Finance team, your role is central to ensuring strong financial controls, cost efficiency, and compliance in all procurement processes—aligned with the company’s position as a Tier 1 automotive supplier.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control procurement budgets and spending across global operations.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of supplier agreements and contracts to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and cost-saving targets.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators and dashboards to monitor procurement financial performance, compliance, and risk.
• Collaborate closely with procurement teams to identify and assess opportunities for cost reduction, supplier optimization, and value creation.
• Support supplier negotiations by providing financial insights and analysis to strengthen the company’s position.
• Ensure full compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements in all procurement-related activities.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality financial reports, forecasts, and insights to support senior leadership in strategic procurement decisions.

Skills and experience

• Extensive experience as a Procurement Finance Controller, with a solid background in managing financial operations related to procurement across global markets.
• Strong skills in budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and supplier financial analysis.
• Proven track record of supporting strategic sourcing decisions through data-driven insights and effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Highly skilled in ensuring compliance, driving cost-efficiency initiatives, and aligning procurement finance with corporate strategy in complex, international environments.
