Production Scheduler
As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating production activities to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within our transformers manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in aligning production schedules with operational goals, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer and project requirements.
If you’re structured, curious, and enjoy working with others, we’ll give you the tools and support to grow into a confident and capable production planner.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations — helping forecast, plan, and follow up on production. You’ll also contribute to improving how we work, collaborating with teams across project planning, supply chain, and production.
Your Responsibilities:
- Generating detailed production schedules based on the production plan, to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules.
- Executing daily, plant-level materials requirement planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules and ensure on time delivery to all customers.
- Establishing the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan obtained from the Production Planners.
- Monitoring performance to schedule, identifying key root causes for deviation and implementing relevant improvement actions.
- Supporting Production Planners with clear communication of any production capacity issues, and details of material availability.
Your Background
- You are engaged, structured, and have a strong ability to identify and understand logical flows and interdependencies.
- You hold a university degree or a vocational qualification (YH/KY) in production planning, industrial engineering, or a related field — or have equivalent work experience in similar roles.
- You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in planning tools and MS Office, particularly Excel, is required.
- Familiarity with Lean Production principles and methodologies is considered an advantage.
- Experience working in a production environment, preferably within larger industrial or manufacturing companies, is also advantageous.
