Portfolio Manager to Retail Company

We are now looking for a Business Analyst/Portfolio Manager to support the growth and performance of cutting-edge Data & AI products for a well-known company in the retail industry. 

This full-time assignment is based in Stockholm with 20% remote flexibility and will run from June 8, 2025, to May 1, 2026.

About the Role

As Portfolio Manager, you will play a central role in overseeing the strategic alignment, governance, and performance tracking of a company-wide portfolio focused on Data & AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, business development, and analytics to ensure effective steering and delivery. Reporting into the Data & AI organization, you will drive structure, clarity, and efficiency across multiple business-aligned programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and oversight of a company-wide Data & AI portfolio
• Track initiative progress and performance across the entire portfolio
• Identify and escalate key risks, delays, and dependencies as needed
• Design and implement cross-functional steering and prioritization frameworks
• Maintain and enhance governance structures (forums, cadences, decision-making processes)
• Provide best practices and standardized tools for portfolio and program management
• Act as a key liaison across business and tech stakeholders to ensure alignment

About You

You are an experienced business analyst with a strategic mindset and a strong foundation in portfolio management, particularly within data- and AI-driven environments. You excel in creating clarity from complexity, guiding large-scale initiatives with confidence and structure. Your collaborative spirit and communication skills allow you to effectively align diverse teams and stakeholders.

Experience and Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in portfolio management
• Proven experience managing Data & AI portfolios or large-scale data initiatives
• Track record of delivering tangible business results through structured portfolio governance
• Skilled in project and program delivery within complex organizations
• Strategic thinker with excellent prioritization and analytical skills
• Confident communicator and presenter with strong stakeholder management
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work on-site in Stockholm with up to 20% remote flexibility
