We are seeking an experienced Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team, working with a leading European OEM to develop cutting-edge automotive technology solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience specifically in automotive.
- Proficiency in C++17, Kotlin, Python. Familiarity with Java is a plus.
- Strong experience with Android AOSP development:
- – SELinux (contexts, roles, safety impact)
- – Android Manifest, OTA mechanisms, Trusted Execution Environment
- – iptables, netd, and networking stack understanding
- Pytest framework experience.
- Hands-on experience with QNX safety features (e.g., Secpol).
- Experience with Qualcomm platforms: SA8155/SA8255, QSEE, SecureBoot.
- Android Certification testing tools: XTS, VTS.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
- NICE TO HAVE:
- Familiarity with Gerrit, Threat Modeling (e.g., HEAVENS).
- Knowledge of static, dynamic, and interactive code analysis tools.
- Experience with cloud security, embedded systems, IoT, and hardware attack vectors.
- Certifications like CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or ISTQB.
- Mentoring or coaching experience in a multicultural setup.
Job responsibilities
- Define and enforce cybersecurity standards across development teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity concepts for automotive ECUs.
- Conduct and support threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Develop Android-based apps and UI components for infotainment systems.
- Integrate secure OTA, SELinux, and system safety features into embedded platforms.
- Support secure boot, software signing, and platform security on Qualcomm (SA8155, SA8255).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural and agile development environment.
