QA/QC Manager

We are looking for an experienced and driven QA/QC Manager to take the lead on quality management throughout all project phases – from engineering and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements (including ATEX and PED). You’ll lead a small team and collaborate closely with engineering, suppliers, and construction teams to secure project excellence.

🛠 Your Key Responsibilities

🔹 Project Quality Strategy & Execution

• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan as part of the Project Execution Plan.
• 
  
• Implement quality reporting and track compliance, deviations, and KPIs.
• 
  
• Drive quality assurance across engineering, vendor delivery, and construction.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant EU directives and industry standards (e.g., ATEX, PED, Machinery Directive).

🔹 Vendor & Procurement Quality

• Oversee inspection and expediting of purchased equipment and materials.
• 
  
• Ensure vendor deliverables meet specifications through audits, reviews, and NOBO coordination.
• 
  
• Support contract negotiations and quality-related requirements during vendor selection.

🔹 Construction Site Quality

• Monitor and verify work against approved drawings, standards, and codes.
• 
  
• Supervise contractor performance and ensure quality control processes are followed.
• 
  
• Manage preservation of equipment and field documentation, including as-builts and ITPs.

🔹 Handover & Commissioning Compliance

• Ensure certification and documentation for handover:
• Discipline Acceptance Certificates (DACs)
• 
  
• Mechanical Completion (MC)
• 
  
• Pre-commissioning punch list resolution
• Coordinate final documentation and compliance with EU directives and client requirements.

👥 Team & Collaboration

• Lead a team of 3–5 quality professionals and coordinate external inspection, documentation control, and expediting resources.
• 
  
• Act as the go-to expert for QA/QC within the project organization.

✅ What You Bring

• Proven experience in a similar QA/QC leadership role within industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of EU directives and QA/QC frameworks (ISO 9001, ATEX, PED, etc.).
• 
  
• Skilled in quality planning, audits, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
• 
  
• A proactive mindset and strong communication skills in English.
