Durability Engine Test Engineer

At Engine Verification and Planning, we are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on engine and component testing within our test operations. Our team consists of dedicated test engineers and planners who work closely with design engineers, workshop staff, and test operators to ensure high quality and reliability in our engines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform engine and component durability tests from start to finish
• Monitor engine performance, analyze test data, and inspect components
• Document and present results in a clear and structured manner
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, workshops, and test operators
• Drive method development and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes

Qualifications

• A technical education (BSc/MSc) and a strong interest in engine development
• Experience with combustion engines, preferably in testing or troubleshooting
• Self-driven, analytical, and structured
• Enjoys teamwork and knowledge sharing
• Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of engine components, measurement techniques, software calibration, ER reporting, and a truck driver’s license (C/CE) are highly valued.
