SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain Android applications for smartphones and tablets.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Fix bugs and improve application performance based on user feedback and analytics.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
• Work with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/integrations.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in Android app development using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and build tools (Gradle).
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON parsing.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.
• Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Xcode, iOS SDK, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and network programming.
• Knowledge of Core Data, SQLite, or other local data storage solutions.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
