The Shopper Marketing Manager, Nordics will be responsible for developing and executing Nordic shopper marketing strategies across our brands that drives brand awareness, enhance the shopper experience, and achieve commercial objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, retail dynamics, and effective marketing tactics to engage shoppers at various touchpoints.

Your Tasks

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive shopper marketing strategies that align with brand objectives and retailer goals.
  • Identify key shopper insights and trends to inform marketing initiatives and drive engagement.

Campaign Planning and Execution:

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate shopper marketing campaigns, including in-store promotions, digital marketing, and experiential marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Category Management) to ensure cohesive execution of campaigns.

Retailer Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to understand their strategies and shopper needs.
  • Develop joint marketing initiatives that leverage retailer strengths and enhance brand visibility.

Consumer Insights and Market Research:

  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify opportunities for shopper engagement.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the budget for shopper marketing initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Track spending and performance against budget, making adjustments as necessary.

Performance Measurement:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of shopper marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting performance, insights, and recommendations for future strategies.

Leadership and Support:

  • Provide support to teams on shopper marketing initiatives and best practices.
  • Sets targets, leads and motivates employees to deliver excellent performance.
  • Ensure that all teams are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to effectively engage shoppers.

Innovation and Best Practices:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in shopper marketing.
  • Drive innovation in shopper marketing strategies to enhance the shopper experience and improve conversion rates.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in shopper marketing, brand management, or a related field, preferably within the Pharmacy or FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics and shopper behaviour.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with cross functional teams.
  • Experience in managing budgets and measuring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using market research tools and analytics platforms.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English both verbal and written.
