What you'll do

As Business Development Manager, you will drive our strategic development and lead cross-functional initiatives that align with Hemnet’s long-term growth objectives. You will play a central role in defining our company objectives as well as driving our goal setting framework (OKRs) and track outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders across the company to help shape and execute our company strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive and coordinate our company strategy process, ensuring we have clear plans for how to secure sustainable business growth

  • Lead strategic initiatives involving stakeholders across the entire organisation, with impact on several customer groups and Hemnet’s P&L

  • Further develop our goal setting framework (OKRs) to ensure organizational alignment and progress

  • Work with senior management and prepare high-quality materials for leadership- and board-level presentations.

  • Develop business cases and provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis and market insights.

Who you are

In order to be successful in this role we believe you have 5+ years of experience from management consulting and/or similar business development roles within an organisation. You have experience from project- and stakeholder management and are now ready to take the next step into an in-house role. You have worked with B2C products and understand digital native organisations and product offerings.

  • A customer-centric mindset that ensures business decisions reflect both company goals and customer needs.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, develop business cases and form conclusions based on these insights

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations in a clear, actionable and convincing way

  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization
