Background

The Online Payments product is a key component of a broader digital transformation strategy, designed to provide retailers with a seamless ecommerce experience. This product is part of a larger omni-channel payments solution that contributes to the organization's core digital offering.

The scope of the consultant services is to support the delivery of a high-quality Online Payments product, with a focus on .NET development, scalability, and adherence to technical standards. The consultant will contribute to technical decision-making, ensure security compliance, and collaborate with other product teams to create a seamless omnichannel retail experience.

The consultant will assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Online Payments product while supporting the team with best practices, enforcing technical standards, and resolving complex issues encountered during the development process.

Main tasks in the assignment include:

• Develop a well-architected, scalable, and high-performing solution
• Define and support technical standards and best practices
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Ensure that applications meet required quality and security standards
• Collaborate with other product teams to deliver an omnichannel retail experience
• Provide expert-level knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and best practices
• Support CI/CD pipeline setups

Qualifications

• Expertise in JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Node.js, TypeScript
• Expertise in RESTful APIs – designing and consuming APIs for data exchange
• Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Basic knowledge and understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Experience with integrations involving Payment Service Providers or payment gateways
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of omnichannel retail environments
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong understanding of security and quality standards in development for online payments in ecommerce
• Fluent in English
