Logistics Manager to Samsung
We are now looking for a dynamic Logistics Manager to join an exciting consulting assignment at Samsung.
This is a full-time, long-term role based in Kista, with a focus on driving operational excellence and innovation across Nordic logistics operations.
About the roleAs a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for steering logistics strategies and operations across the Nordics. Reporting into the Process Innovation function, you will lead a skilled team and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance performance, compliance and customer satisfaction. The role is pivotal in ensuring seamless and scalable logistics processes that support both B2B and B2C activities.
Responsibilities- Define and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service levels.
- Lead the Nordic logistics and customs team, overseeing compliance, vendor agreements, and key projects.
- Drive process innovation initiatives in collaboration with HQ and cross-functional teams.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and 3PL partners, setting and reviewing SLAs.
- Manage control towers for performance tracking, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Negotiate and review 3PL contracts in alignment with European logistics strategies.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and ensure integration between logistics and customer success processes.
- Support data-driven decision-making by translating analytics into actionable logistics insights.
You are a senior logistics professional with a deep understanding of Nordic supply chain dynamics. Your leadership style blends strategic thinking with hands-on involvement, and you thrive in cross-functional environments. With a strong foundation in customs and B2B/B2C logistics, you're equipped to drive change, foster partnerships, and make data-driven decisions that generate measurable results.
Experience and skills- 5–7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within the Nordic region.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, including team development and operational oversight.
- Background in both B2B and B2C logistics, with solid knowledge of customs compliance.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and managing complex logistics operations.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- Experience negotiating third-party logistics contracts and managing vendor performance.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and verbal.
- High proficiency in data analysis and KPI tracking tools.
