Software developer in radiotherapy planning physics - Fixed-term employment

We are looking for a talented software developer with a PhD in radiotherapy physics to work with improvements in our treatment planning software.
You will be an integral part of the Physics group and the Linac Physics team, which is responsible for dose computation and machine support for different types of linear accelerators.
Examples of tasks during this employment include Monte Carlo simulations of linear accelerators paired with upright patient positioners, implementation of machine parameters and quality assurance tools.
Background
• PhD in radiotherapy physics or similar
• Experience in programming
• Experience in Monte Carlo modeling of linear accelerators for photon radiotherapy
Duration and start date
• The employment is initially restricted to a 6-month period but could if needed be extended by a maximum of 3 months
• The successful candidate is expected to start in September
