Group Design Lead

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Responsible for leading the development and design of one or several components within the Exterior/Interior/Chassis system. Most components are developed using full service suppliers.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining the time plan for the respective component or subsystem.
• Ensuring progress is made by leading and following up actions with their respective owners.
• Communicating team progress to project management and other stakeholders.
• Communicate and agree requirements with the supplier(s).
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders at customer and with supplier(s).

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEGDE:

• Technical University Degree
• Extensive experience as GDL/Sr. Design Engineer
• Knowledge of KDP, TCPLM, Pecca Procost/PCT, Lotus note, etc
• Deep understanding of series built demand
• Fluent in English. Knowing Swedish will add merits
• Knowledge of product validation and verification, as per product development process.
• Product release related info and experience.
