About the Client & Project

Our client is undertaking a major transformation to support their 2030 strategy by implementing a new finance platform – Master Finance 2.0 – based on SAP S/4HANA. This platform will enhance financial insight and increase efficiency across financial processes through a modernized information model.

As part of this journey, manual billing functionality currently hosted in Master Finance 1.0 will be decentralized and transitioned to TD / BA platforms. This is crucial to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with future compliance demands.

The Assignment

We are now seeking a Chief Project Manager to lead the setup of a new billing platform hosted on SAP S/4. The platform will support current billing flows handled in MF 1.0, spanning Production Logistics, Manufacturing, and Service Market Logistics.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the development and implementation of SD billing solutions in SAP S/4

Mapping and analyzing current manual billing scenarios in MF 1.0

Driving transformation initiatives to transition manual flows into automated standard solutions

Coordinating the development of a cross-functional solution for supplier claims management (e.g., handling incorrect/damaged goods)

Collaborating closely with MF 2.0 project resources and stakeholders

Managing project planning, resourcing, and delivery – with hands-on involvement where needed

Key milestone: Go-live of MF 2.0 at Swedish Powertrain plants on April 1st, 2026.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a structured and collaborative leader with:

5+ years of project management experience, preferably in global manufacturing environments

Solid understanding of end-to-end industrial/logistics processes

Familiarity with both traditional and agile project methodologies

Proven experience with projects involving financial/logistic system implementation

Strong skills in change management, including relevant frameworks

Ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels

A team player with excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and a proactive mindset
