We are searching for a Head of Sales to an innovative life science company that develops advanced PCR kits and services.

Background

Our client is on the forefront of a new innovative PCR technique that enables customers to push boundaries within molecular analysis using hyperplexing.

Our client has a unique solution that can help researcher to get more efficient data from various applications, such as pathogen detection, wasterwater montoring, liquid biopsy analysis and many more.

The company is now expanding and are searching a new Head of Sales that can help to grow the commercial organisation and reach out to more researchers to help enable science.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement sales strategies and processes to ensure growth in new and existing markets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with RochD, production planning and commercial goals to achieve business objectives.
• Build, maintain, and develop a comprehensive customer data base to support sales growth and improve customer relationships.
• Oversee and manage the budget for the commercial team to ensure that financial targets are met and profitability is achvied.
• Be the responsible person to find new commercial partnerships in new markets and support existing distributors

Requirements and abilities to be successful in the role:
• Molecular biology background and extensive sales experience.
• Proven international experience working with customers and partners in an international context.
• Familiar to work in a start-up environment.
• A strong track record of identifying and executing on new business opportunities.
• Proactive mindset and results-oriented approach on business growth and revenue generation.
• Operate in process oriented manner to ensure operational efficiency and scalability across key business activities.
• Good team player and can do attitude.
