Job Description: Cloud Solution Architect

Start: Sept 2025

We are seeking a Cloud Solution Architect. In this key role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the implementation of cloud backend environments. You will define future cloud architectures and infrastructures, ensure system security and maintainability, and support development teams with expert architectural guidance.

You will join a collaborative environment where agile practices and technical innovation drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain cloud software architecture and infrastructure
• Analyze current systems and present improvement plans
• Ensure long-term maintainability and performance of cloud solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional architectural teams
• Guide the development team with architectural and technical expertise
• Translate product visions into clear technical requirements
• Conduct cost and security assessments for cloud solutions
• Document system design and decisions thoroughly

Technical Responsibilities

• Interpret business and technical requirements into scalable system design
• Lead cloud infrastructure design, including serverless, event-driven systems
• Support integration with web technologies and APIs
• Utilize tools such as AWS CloudFormation or SAM for infrastructure as code
• Define and improve CI/CD processes with automation in mind
• Report to the IoT Platform Manager

Required Competencies

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, preferably with AWS
• Expertise in serverless and event-driven architecture
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, SAM)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and integrations
• Experience in cloud cost optimization and security best practices
• Fluency in English

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with IoT cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub)
• Awareness of software security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
• Ability or interest in leading technical teams
• Familiarity with the SAFe agile framework
• Background knowledge of mechanical or electromechanical systems

Profile & Requirements

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in cloud development or software architecture
• Strong background in Java, serverless design, and CI/CD automation
• Experience in agile and collaborative product development environments
