The Digital Solutions Manager is responsible for driving the development, governance, and execution of digital solution strategies across the organization. This role plays a pivotal part in defining new digital offerings, establishing commercial models, and ensuring successful market adoption through field testing and customer trials. The manager will lead cross-functional collaboration to align digital initiatives with business priorities and customer needs, ensuring a robust roadmap for 2026 and beyond.



Accountable for:


  • Solution Roadmapping: Develop and maintain the Digital Solutions Roadmap for 2026 and beyond, aligning with business goals and regional priorities.


  • Offering Model Definition: Define and refine new digital offering models that meet evolving customer and market demands.


  • Commercial Strategy: Develop commercial models and articulate clear value propositions to support monetization and customer engagement.


  • Field Testing & Trials: Lead field testing and customer trial projects to validate solutions and gather actionable feedback.


  • Business Analytics: Leverage analytics to inform decision-making, track performance, and identify opportunities for optimization.


  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Craft and execute go-to-market strategies, including customer presentations and sales enablement tools.


  • Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with Global Product Managers (GPMs) and regional teams to ensure alignment with 2025 priorities and strategic goals.


Objectives & Measurement

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

Operational

  • Lead the implementation of the Digital Solutions Roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and regional priorities.
  • Define and launch a new digital offering model with measurable commercial impact
  • Drive successful field testing and customer trials to validate digital solutions and accelerate time-to-market.
  • Establish a governance model and transition digital initiatives into business-as-usual (BAU) operations
  • Improve customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) for digital solutions and services.

People

  • Collaborate with Global Product Managers (GPMs), Digital Leaders, and Transformation Program owners to ensure alignment and delivery of digital initiatives.
  • Act as the primary liaison for regional stakeholders, ensuring their needs are reflected in digital solution development and adoption.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities within the digital portfolio.
  • Foster a collaborative, cross-functional team environment that supports innovation and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Accreditation

  • Ensure all digital solutions comply with internal governance standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit readiness and documentation for digital product lifecycle and data handling practices.

Safety and Environment

  • Champion a safety-first mindset in all digital solution development and deployment activities.
  • Ensure digital tools and platforms support and enhance safety compliance and environmental stewardship.
  • Integrate risk assessment and mitigation strategies into digital project planning and execution.
  • Promote sustainable digital practices that align with environmental targets and corporate responsibility goals.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Metallurgical or Chemical.


  • 5+ years of experience at industrial process facilities.


  • Strong background working with industrial process equipment, including design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Experience in Product or Technical Management, driving improvements to products and services
  • In-depth knowledge of project management frameworks such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels.


  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in transformation and innovation.
