About the role

You drive launches across Professional and Residential segments in line with our customer-focused strategy, collaborating with Sales, CSU, Marketing, and other key functions. In a complex organization, you equip Sales with the right tools, coordinate pan-European sales activities, and ensure local needs are addressed by central teams. As the main contact for Sales on new product introductions, you work closely with CSU, Marketing, Supply Chain, and After Sales to meet launch targets in revenue, profitability, and market position. Together with Country Managers and Sales Planners, you form a vital part of the Sales & Services Management team. Your role is critical in executing divisional business objectives. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Services for Major Europe and Distributors, the Product Launch Manager ensures sales companies and distributors have the necessary information and materials for successful product launches.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Represent Sales in communication with central functions (CSUs and Marketing) to ensure sales needs are reflected in product development and launch plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, CSUs, and Operations to define and execute Pan-European promotions aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Partner with Channel Marketing to create launch materials and promotional packages.
  • Manage the sample process to ensure timely delivery of product samples to dealers.
  • Analyze market and seasonal data to support launch strategies and promotional planning.
  • Support local range planning and product range simplification initiatives.
  • Lead regular launch meetings with sales teams to ensure alignment and address challenges.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across the local PM community and contribute to roadmap planning and campaign performance reviews.
  • Active involvement in sales related project initiatives across Europe

Scope of Decision Making

  • Drive decisions related to "right place" and "right price" strategies to optimize launch performance in line with the overall brand positioning and strategic objectives.
  • Drive the sample process from the sales perspective for dealer events.

About you

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field such as sales, marketing, or product development, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
  • Experience in a similar role, managing product launches across multiple markets or regions, preferably within the European market.
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales, marketing, and product development processes.
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different functions and teams.

Skills and Capabilities

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges related to product launches.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Location

This role can be located at any of our sites in Sweden (Huskvarna, Stockholm or Jonsered).

The role includes traveling worldwide from time to time (when the business needs).
