What you will do:
The Digital UX & Design Director joins our 14-person Website and Intranet team (mostly Stockholm), driving commercial digital ambitions to support company strategy. This hire will unify UX/design vision across public, extranet, and intranet platforms; elevate user-centricity; ensure strong Ericsson brand consistency; optimize user journeys; and foster data-driven design, collaborating with Brand and IT teams. 

The skills you bring:

Visionary UX & Design Leadership: 
•    Ability to develop and articulate a compelling user experience and design vision across the website, extranet, and intranet, aligned with Ericsson's overall business strategy and brand.
•    Skill in setting strategic direction for UX and design initiatives, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across
Deep Understanding of User-Centered Design Principles: 
•    Comprehensive knowledge of user research methodologies, interaction design principles, information architecture, usability testing, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
•    Skill in translating user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into effective design solutions.
Extensive Experience Across Multiple Digital Platforms: 
•    Proven track record of leading UX and design efforts for diverse digital platforms, including public-facing websites, B2B extranets, and internal intranets.
•    Deep understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and branding guidelines.
•    Ability to ensure that the visual design of all platforms reinforces the Ericsson brand and creates a positive user experience.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
•    Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, IT teams, external vendors, and importantly, the Ericsson Brand & Design teams.
•    Ability to articulate the value of UX and design and influence decision-making at a strategic level, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and the consistent application of the Ericsson Design System.
Knowledge of Digital Technologies and Trends: 
•    Awareness of current and emerging digital technologies, design trends, and best practices.
•    Understanding of the technical feasibility of design solutions and the capabilities of different platforms.
•    Ability to advocate for innovative and user-centric technology adoption.
