Junior Business Controller

Are you early in your finance career and ready to take on a wider business perspective? At TePe, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow into a broader controller role — someone who’s ready to dive into numbers, challenge ways of working, and help us build smart processes from the ground up.

As a Junior Group Business Controller, you’ll work closely with our Group Business Control Manager and partner with teams across the organization. One day you might help a department manager make sense of their budget. The next, you’re creating a reporting package, supporting strategy work, or helping shape the way we use our financial systems.

We won’t pretend it’s all mapped out — because it isn’t. But if you’re solution-oriented, curious, and like variety, this could be the right place to grow. 

What you’ll be doing

• Support process and system development to improve reporting and controller support.
• Drive improvements in reporting structures like chart of accounts and master data.
• Enable BI self-service for management.
• Act as financial partner to HQ managers, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Assist with business cases and provide data-driven insights.
• Prepare monthly management reporting and share key insights.
• Support group strategy with financial analysis.
• Coordinate budget, forecast, and monthly/year-end closing processes.
• Provide ad-hoc support to controllers and department managers.

What you bring

• A university degree in finance, accounting or similar
• A structured, analytical mindset and a genuine interest in how business decisions are made
• A proactive, hands-on attitude — you're comfortable figuring things out and suggesting better ways
• A good eye for structure and an understanding of context
• Fluency in English
• Ability to be on-site in our office in Malmö a minimum of three days a week

It’s a plus if you

• Have some experience in controlling or financial analysis
• Know your way around consumer products or manufacturing
• Are comfortable navigating change and building processes as you go
