Your Role and Responsibilities

Are you ready to take on a key role in a dynamic, forward-thinking company with a strong foothold in the market for highly configurable Large AC Machines? We are currently looking for a driven and responsible Application Specialist to strengthen our team. If you have a solid background in computer-based tool applications—particularly within sales configurator systems and product data management (PDM)—this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact.

In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of our sales configurator tool. You will gather and translate requirements from internal and external stakeholders, turning them into actionable development plans. Your work will also involve supporting PDM-related processes, ensuring system availability, and contributing to the evolution of tools and functionalities based on business needs.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, both locally and globally, acting as a key link between technical and commercial departments.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Analyze and translate user needs into functional improvements for the sales configurator
• Maintain and develop configurator tools to support changing business requirements
• Support and improve product data management (PDM) systems and processes
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across various departments and regions

Qualifications for the role

• A university degree in system programming or a related technical field
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar role as an application specialist
• Solid programming skills in C# on the .NET platform, or equivalent experience
• General knowledge or hands-on experience with UNIX/AIX (Linux), Java, and SQL
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, along with at least basic proficiency in Swedish
