System architect
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Functional Safety Specialist to join a central team and drive vehicle safety from the initial concept phase through to production. The position involves close collaboration with development teams, suppliers, and partners to secure compliance with key international standards, including ISO 26262, ISO 21448, and UL 4600.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop guidelines, templates, and provide training in areas such as HARA, impact analysis, and HW/SW safety methodologies.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor safety testing activities across various vehicle programs.
- Perform and review safety analyses, including HARA, FMEA, FTA, DFA, and interference checks, ensuring complete traceability of requirements.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation such as definitions, risk assessments, coverage reports, and specifications.
- Integrate functional safety standards into processes, support their implementation in design work, and align activities with suppliers and customers.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication abilities with full professional proficiency in English (C2 level).
- Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Mechatronics (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
- Proven experience with hardware safety concepts at ASIL-B level or higher.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 and practical application of functional safety methods.
- Hands-on experience with HW/SW safety assessments, including FMEA, FTA, DFA, HSI specifications, and system architecture.
