About the Role

This position plays a key part in delivering reliable IT services and ensuring the stability of a shared IT platform. The work involves handling a mix of internally developed solutions, third-party products, microservices, and databases.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize database performance and will have the tools and support to plan and implement these improvements. Daily tasks include database tuning, installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. Your contributions will help create a positive impact for both internal teams and end users.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in database administration for SAP ASE (Sybase), MSSQL, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Solid background in Linux/UNIX database administration, including advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis in large-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise database infrastructure management.
• Well-organized with excellent documentation skills.

Education

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

Language

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different situations and audiences.
• Capable of managing tasks and meeting deadlines independently as well as in a team setting.
