Software Engineer – Vision Cameras

Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the development of a modern multi-brand platform for vision cameras. You will be part of an agile team and contribute with deep expertise in camera technologies, image pipelines, and automotive applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate vision camera solutions within an agile team setup
• Work with video streaming and synchronization of multiple simultaneous video feeds
• Contribute to networking and embedded Linux solutions for IP camera systems
• Handle video compression and decompression (H.264)
• Ensure reliable communication and functionality across ethernet-based camera platforms

Mandatory Qualifications

• Familiarity with video streaming protocols (SOME/IP, RTP, RTSP)
• Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience
• Proven ability to manage video streaming and synchronization across multiple feeds
• Solid knowledge of networking in embedded Linux systems (DHCP, VLAN, ipconfig, multicast/unicast)
• Practical experience in video compression and decompression (H.264)
• Strong background in developing embedded solutions in Linux environments
• In-depth understanding of ethernet communication for IP camera systems
