Senior Acoustic Engineer

Position: Camfil Power Systems Senior Acoustic Engineering Expert

Reports to: Operationally and functionally to CPS Engineering Director, Andreas Lennhager.

Location: Within EMEA, preferably at commuting distance to one Camfil office within the region.

We are growing and therefore looking for another/additional highly skilled and experienced Senior Acoustic Engineering Expert to join our global team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the design and development of acoustic solutions for air filtration products.

· Conduct acoustic analysis and testing to ensure product performance.

· Collaborate with R&D, product management, and manufacturing teams to integrate acoustic solutions into product designs.

· Provide technical expertise and guidance on acoustic engineering principles and best practices.

· Stay updated with the latest advancements in acoustic engineering and air filtration technologies.

· Mentor and support junior engineers in the team.

· Assist with the submission of orders/documents to the project manager and/or designer

· dimensioning sound attenuation systems in the quotation phase and project groups/New construction in the order phase

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Engineering degree

· Advanced degree in Acoustic Engineering or a related field is preferred.

· 5+ years of experience in acoustic engineering, ideally in the air filtration industry.

· Experience in industries such as energy, oil and gas, power generation, or industrial equipment

· Strong knowledge of acoustic principles, materials, and testing methods.

· Proven track record of successfully acoustic projects from concept to implementation.

· English language both oral and written is required, any other language is an advantage

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
