The opportunity
Are you passionate about learning, leadership, and technical excellence? We are now looking for a dynamic and strategic Training & Certification Manager to lead the GI Valves Training and Certification Center. In this role, you will shape the future of competence development within HVDC GI Valves by managing a high-performing team, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring our training offerings are aligned with business goals and safety standards.
You will be a key player in driving the growth and quality of our training programs, supporting both internal development and customer project success – including Greenfield projects. This is your chance to make a lasting impact on the future of HVDC technology and talent.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage the GI Valves Training and Certification Center and its personnel.
- Collaborate continuously with GI Valves managers, product owners, project managers, and other HVDC stakeholders to align training with business needs.
- Ensure training offerings, support business growth strategies and internal competence development.
- Oversee planning, execution, and resourcing of GI Valves training for Greenfield projects.
- Drive the development of technical product and maintenance training across the organization.
- Partner with HVDC Academy and external providers to design and deliver high-quality, safety-compliant training programs.
- Implement and monitor KPIs and targets for the Training Center, contributing to overall manufacturing goals.
- Represent the Training Center in the GI Valves manufacturing management team and act as an ambassador to internal and external stakeholders.
Your background
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in a training, technical, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical and didactic principles in both theoretical and practical training.
- Experience managing teams and fostering a culture of growth, safety, and quality.
- Solid knowledge of HSE regulations and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Skilled in budget planning, cost follow-up, and performance reporting.
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal networks and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in planning and executing training for large-scale projects is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
