Role Summary

This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden

Are you ready to shape the future of zero-emission commercial vehicles?

We want to strengthen our team with a versatile engineer with a passion for data-driven system development. In this role, you will contribute to the evaluation of fuel cell systems and their integration into next-generation vehicle platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze measurement data to identify optimization opportunities across thermal, electrical, and hydrogen subsystems
• Develop and apply methods for virtual testing and system-level performance evaluation
• Support component selection and system architecture decisions through structured data analysis
• Build automated workflows for KPI-based assessments and technical reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to international expert networks

Who you are

• Interest in fuel cell technology and sustainable mobility solutions
• You enjoy to share your knowledge and to work in international and interdisciplinary teams
• Proficient in data analysis using tools like Python, MATLAB, or similar
• Experience with virtual testing environments and system modeling tools (e.g., GT-Suite or comparable platforms)
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently across multiple technical domains
