SCADA Developer

We are looking for a dedicated SCADA Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation control and monitoring systems within the energy and industrial sectors. The position is based in Ludvika/Borlänge, Sweden, but involves business travel both nationally and internationally. Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for control and monitoring of technical facilities.
• Participate in the full development cycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, and commissioning.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, support, and project meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure functionality, quality, and delivery precision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SCADA development, preferably within energy, industry, or infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of automation solutions and industrial communication protocols (e.g., IEC 61850, Modbus, OPC).
• Knowledge of databases and programming is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with strong communication skills in customer-facing situations.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Swedish language skills are a plus.

Requirements

• Permanent residence permit in Sweden or another EU country.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for work.
