In Range Operations we create optimal preconditions for the business and people to design, develop and manage the IKEA range offer in a connected and optimized IKEA value chain – to deliver growth and enable low cost.

Specialist Functions is one of the departments in Range Operations and hosts several assignments connected to specialists. One assignment in Specialist Function is to develop and ensure preconditions to implement product related requirements.

We continue to see a high inflow of legislations affecting IKEA. Many legislations have high impact on the IKEA business and is impacting many parts of IKEA. Some of these legislations require coordination and leadership to ensure compliance.

Job Description

In this role, you will have a great opportunity to lead projects and topics for Range connected either to existing retail countries and new and potential ones. You will be exposed and connect with colleagues from the full value chain of IKEA, to understand the markets needs and what Range has to contribute with. You will have a diverse stakeholder group, to manage and maintain relations with, both in Range and IKEA world, to keep the group’s deliverables together in the assigned projects. It is a unique opportunity to be exposed to the full IKEA value chain of IKEA.

So, what would you do:

• Responsible to lead requirement topics connected to assigned area across.
• Responsible to lead execution of compliance related activities as project leader, including analysis, business consequences, stakeholder management and communication.
• Responsible to lead deployment and enable implementation, of cross-organisational requirements activities end to end according to requirement and compliance process.
• Responsible to participate and contribute to networks in IKEA, with the purpose to support deployment and implementation of requirements.
• Contribute to requirement working groups (eg. PRIO) in IKEA.
• Contribute, when relevant, to influence new and existing legislations, regulations and standards.
• Contribute to follow up of compliance.

Qualifications

To succeed & shine in this role, we wish that you:

• Good understanding of the IKEA value chain, the concept and processes
• Good knowledge of the requirement development process
• University degree or work experience in the relevant area.
• Are fluent in the English language both spoken and written
• Good knowledge and experience in Project management
• Good communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to analyse, assess, interpret complex subjects and identify needed actions.
• Ability to build network and establish trustful relationships, internally and externally
• Ability to motivate others and enable change
• Stakeholder management - Ensuring alignment and commitment across organisation
• Ability to lead and find new ways
• Ability to plan, monitor and review execution of projects
• Dare to decide and take actions
