We are looking for a new IT Developer for our team, who can bring in a fresh perspective in analysing technology requirements and build tools for Nordea’s Financial Crime (Transaction Monitoring) area.

About our team 
You will belong to the “Transaction Monitoring Requirement & Analyst, Software Development” team. It is a team with skilled Developers, Architects and Analysts who works within different TM SaFe trains/agile teams. We build tools and solutions for the Transaction Monitoring Business area.
As our new IT Developer, you will be working in an agile team (Agile Release Train) that is delivering business critical application in Transaction monitoring space to further strengthen Nordea’s financial crime prevention. In this role you will work closely with other technical and business experts to both deliver the project as well as leading the way to build the internal knowledge at Nordea. You will part of managing requirements, ensuring the effective design, optimization and operation of our systems and infrastructure. You will work on all stages of Software Developer Life Cycle (SDLC).

The role is based based in Stockholm, Sweden. Most of the interactions will be done in English and most meetings with stakeholders take place virtually.
Main responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:
* Develop solutions using programming languages like Scala, Spark, Java and Python
* Build data applications on distributed computing systems, i.e. Hadoop, AWS
* Document IT Solutions and formulate business and IT processes
* Support our Technology Operations and Technology Quality Assurance teams

* Have the self-confidence to connect easily and effectively with stakeholders and team members throughout the organisation

Your background and skills include:
* Being at the start of your career, with a newly acquired Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field i.e. computer science or similar
* Experience in application development using Java / Scala / Python, with an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
* Good communication and presentation skills for collaborating with relevant stakeholders
* Experience from and an understanding of how one translates business requirements to technical solutions
* Professional practical experience from practicing agile principles in an agile framework

It would be ideal if you also:
* Have experience working with entity resolution solutions
* Have an understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) / BI / Data Analytics / Data Modelling
* Have experience documenting requirements in Confluence, Jira or similar software’s
