Job Description
We are now looking for a Team Manager Commercial to join our Range Area!
As a Team Manager, you will report to the Commercial Manager and together be responsible for both business and people within the commercial function. Together, you will be responsible for all people-related topics to lead and develop the function. This includes recruitment(s), learning & development, performance management, retention- and succession planning for co-workers in the team.
You will, together with the Commercial Manager, define your business scope and how to create the best pre-conditions for your team to succeed. In this role, you will take the lead in certain business topics, with support from the Commercial Manager.
You are guided by IKEA values and your strong leadership capabilities as you lead by example and act as role model; coach and motivate your coworkers with your daily behaviors. You are comfortable leading your team in change and constant range transformation. By staying close to your team, whilst assigning tasks and responsibilities, you create an environment of responsibility, motivation, and support, whilst boosting that culture of developing business and people together.
In the job as Team Manager, you will:
- Responsible for the creation, execution and follow up of the HFB Commercial Plan with a range of tactics and smart actions within.
- Be responsible for driving the Leadership and Competence agenda: Identify needs and gaps and build competence development plans to meet the short- and long-term business and succession needs.
- Responsible for securing that consumer, customer, and retailer input & insights (including expansion plans) are brought into the HFB plans to maximize brand positioning, market relevance and growth.
- Proactively contribute with competence and resources into the product development team in our Range Area
- Responsible for securing that the range and product offer have the pre-conditions to be sellable in an omni-channel IKEA and for setting the preconditions for our retailers to communicate and sell throughout the product life cycle. Including range and product communication.
Qualifications
We are looking for experienced leaders within IKEA that want to develop into a future Commercial Manager role. Your value-based leadership, leading by example, staying close to your team and recent IKEA retail experience, including a recent OMNI-channel perspective, are prerequisites to lead and develop people and business together.
To shine in this role, we would like you to have a strong and proven recent leadership record, leading other leaders and/or co-workers and recent experience with working in a senior sales and/or communication assignment. You know how to ensure collaboration and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders. You have strong communication skills; you communicate relevant information and listen actively. You inspire and create confidence, build networks and strong relations. You have good knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people.
