Music Programmer

Are you a musically versatile creator with a sharp ear for instrumental soundscapes? We are seeking an experienced Music Programmer to join an international team based in Stockholm. In this role, you will shape and refine first-class playlist experiences for a global audience — with a strong emphasis on wellness, moods, and instrumental music, both traditional and contemporary.

What You’ll Do

• Develop playlist concepts and hypotheses tailored to specific moods, activities, and moments.
• Curate and maintain a wide range of playlists across multiple genres and instrumental contexts.
• Review diverse music catalogs and evaluate programming potential.
• Stay on top of cultural and musical trends and translate them into compelling playlist propositions.
• Use both quantitative and qualitative data to understand listener behavior, particularly related to mood- and moment-based programming.
• Collaborate with a global editorial team and various cross-functional partners to drive content objectives.

Who You Are

• You have at least 3 years of experience in music curation within the music or entertainment industry.
• You have experience in music programming (preferably instrumental), creating compilations, or working as a music supervisor.
• You possess strong knowledge of music composition and instrumentation.
• You have a solid background or keen interest in wellness.
• You are comfortable working with and responding to data and analytics.
