Accounting assistant AP to XVIVO, Gothenburg

XVIVO is in a rapid growth phase, including both geographical expansion and the development and launch of new products and supporting processes. We are now looking to strengthen our Finance team in Gothenburg, Sweden with an Accounting assistant Accounts Payable (AP). About the role
As an Accounting assistant AP, you will be part of the finance department in Gothenburg and you will report to the company's Group Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for the AP processes for five legal entities: the Swedish entity, the Dutch entity, and three US entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable for five group companies
- Handle invoice flows and ensure correct coding, including project coding
- Understand VAT and US sales tax for relevant entities
- Work in the ERP system Jeeves and our AP automation tool Medius
- Support efficient financial operations during month-end deadlines
- Over time: opportunity to grow into additional tasks such as monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, and broader financial responsibilities
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in finance or accounting and experience with AP processes. With the right drive and mindset, you may be a recent graduate but having a few years of experience after graduation is an advantage. As we are an international company and you will be working with our entities abroad, you need to be comfortable speaking and writing English fluently.

You show interest in other parts of the business and can easily build relationships with others. As a finance professional, you are structured and enjoy working towards set deadlines.
