About this opportunity:We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Research Leader to join our team at Ericsson. In this role, you will be leading and coaching a team of seasoned researchers, with the aim of advancing Ericsson's innovative research projects, and developing strategic technologies. You will also be instrumental in fostering external relationships with standardization bodies, academia and other industry players. What you will do:- Lead multiple high-performing teams and areas, guiding complex strategic projects with broader scope compared to a conventional Research Lead.
- Provide motivational and development-oriented leadership to nurture a cohesive, high-performing team.
- Develop and implement both technical and non-technical strategies, ensuring they align with Ericsson's vision and goals.
- Initiate and execute new research areas as required to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation.
- Promote an efficient, balanced, and healthy work environment, fostering a culture of excellence within your teams.
- Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders such as academia, other corporates, and standardization bodies.
