Production Preparation Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Production Preparation Specialist for an order-driven manufacturing environment in the robotics industry. You will prepare operation lists with material allocations in SAP and collaborate closely with production to improve flow and efficiency. You will join a Factory IT team, working together with a small team of production preparers. For candidates with a strong systems interest, there is an opportunity to contribute to the development of SAP solutions and reporting capabilities.

The environment includes SAP ECC with an ongoing transition towards SAP S/4HANA, and the role supports continuous improvement work and preparation of production documentation connected to a major production transformation.

• Prepare input material for production orders
• Create and maintain operation lists and material allocations in SAP
• Collaborate with the production team and production technicians to optimize workflows
• Contribute to production order documentation as part of the product development process
• Prepare and update production documentation supporting upcoming changes in the production setup
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and routines in SAP
• Train production engineers in creating routings and develop training materials
• Support warehouse management work in SAP WM/EWM when relevant

• Technical education or equivalent work experience
• Hands-on experience in production preparation and/or manufacturing industry
• Experience working in SAP within a production/manufacturing context
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset

• Interest and experience in contributing to SAP system development and transition work
• Power BI development and/or requirements handling knowledge
• Experience with SAP WM and/or SAP EWM
