Senior SAP Functional Master Data Specialist

We are looking for a Senior SAP Functional Master Data Specialist to support a large-scale SAP Retail environment with strong focus on master data and integrations. You will work end-to-end across the SAP delivery lifecycle—translating business needs into robust solution designs, driving implementation, and supporting deployment in a cross-functional setup with developers, architects, analysts, and project leadership.

• Lead and contribute across the SAP project lifecycle: analysis, design, build, testing, deployment, and support
• Configure SAP solutions and drive enhancements/customizations based on business needs
• Design, build, and implement complex SAP solutions within a Retail context
• Identify, validate, and document requirements, including facilitating workshops with stakeholders
• Drive requirements through design, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality delivery
• Define, develop, document, and maintain architectural blueprints
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to secure successful delivery

• 8–10 years of SAP functional experience
• Strong SAP IS-Retail Master Data experience (e.g., Article, Hierarchy, Listing, Customer, Supplier, Site/Store/Warehouse, Price)
• Experience in merchandising, assortment, and listing management
• Strong knowledge of master data solutions including integrations
• Strong integration experience, including SAP CPI, APIs, Kafka, Azure, and Event Mesh
• Profound understanding of SAP Retail business processes
• Integration experience with POS and e-commerce applications
• Extensive SAP Retail design and implementation experience, including multiple full lifecycle implementations
• Experience enhancing standard/custom interfaces including API and IDoc
• Basic technical debugging skills
• Strong documentation and presentation skills

• Experience in SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP CRM, SAP MDG, and/or SAP CAR
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and/or ActiveControl
• Experience with S/4HANA in any module
• Knowledge of design thinking best practices and solution architecture frameworks
