Mechanical Engineer 2-Stroke Engine Development

You will join an engineering team focused on 2-stroke engine development within the forest & garden industry. The role has a strong mechanical design focus, working with cylinder and piston design as well as rotating system design, in close collaboration with colleagues across product development.

• Create part designs including 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Interpret simulation results and use findings to improve and iterate design solutions.
• Perform tolerance investigations.
• Support product maintenance, including product and cost improvements.
• Participate in technical discussions related to 3D and 2D design.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with Catia.
• Experience working with SmartTeam.
• Experience working with PLM Teamcenter.
• Technical knowledge of engines.
• Good understanding of components in steel and aluminum, or experience with manufacturing methods such as die casting, forging, machining, or sintering.
