Travelling Installation Technician within Green Tech

We are expanding our service team and are now looking for a travelling installation technician to join our European operations.

We are a growing green tech company based in Uppsala, with the world as our market. Our work brings together technical expertise, engineering know-how, and a strong focus on sustainability. Our products for industrial air treatment are based on proprietary technology and contribute to reduced energy consumption and a more sustainable indoor climate.

About the role

As an installation technician, you will be responsible for new installations and service of industrial dehumidifiers at customer sites, primarily within the European market with a focus on Germany. You will lead installations on site and act as the company’s technical representative towards both the customer’s technicians and end users. The role involves a high degree of responsibility, extensive customer interaction, and regular travel. The position is based in Uppsala and includes travel within Europe approximately two weeks per month.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning, executing, and documenting installations
• performing service and troubleshooting, both on site and remotely
• coordinating and leading installation work at customer locations
• ensuring correct functionality during commissioning
• responsible for cloud connectivity and integration with customers’ BMS systems

What we value in you

You have technical experience and a strong technical interest, preferably within field-based technical installations. You enjoy practical work, are comfortable following technical documentation, and take independent responsibility for planning and executing work from start to finish.

• have strong troubleshooting and technical analysis skills
• are confident and comfortable communicating with customers
• take clear ownership and responsibility for your work
• have good command of English, both spoken and written

It is considered a merit if you have basic knowledge of network communication and PLC handling, preferably with experience in TwinCAT, and low-voltage solutions such as sensors and Modbus devices is also an advantage, as are basic skills in German.
