Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

You will strengthen a design team working within Vehicle Cabling Architecture (VCA), focusing on cable harness routing and installation for bus chassis. The environment is technically complex and quality-driven, with a strong emphasis on installation feasibility and structured design reviews in close collaboration with engineering and production.

• Design and route cable harnesses for bus chassis applications
• Develop installation concepts and provide design support related to harness installation
• Participate in design and drawing reviews to ensure quality and manufacturability
• Collaborate in an agile, Scrum-based development setup
• Work closely with adjacent engineering teams and production stakeholders

• Strong experience in mechanical design for cable harness routing and installation
• CATIA V5 (mandatory)
• Engineering background within Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
• Ability to work independently while contributing in a team-based environment
• Professional working proficiency in English

• Swedish language skills
• Previous automotive experience
• Experience with Saber
• Experience with Capital
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE (legacy and new environments)
