Project Lead Engineer

We are looking for a Project Lead Engineer to take a key technical role in synchronous condenser projects within the Large Motors & Generators domain. In this position, you will lead engineering activities end-to-end, acting as the primary technical interface towards stakeholders such as customers, subcontractors, and internal project functions. You will join a dynamic and highly skilled team working in an international setup, with strong focus on quality, safety, and contract compliance.

• Lead and coordinate technical engineering activities in synchronous condenser projects
• Ensure technical delivery is executed effectively and in line with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Act as the primary technical interface towards project stakeholders, with particular focus on the customer
• Support contract managers as well as commissioning and start-up activities with technical expertise
• Create, review, track, and respond to engineering change requests
• Evaluate and manage technical risks and opportunities
• Drive technical solutions to maximize platform reuse while ensuring customer requirement compliance
• Support sales by contributing to technical input for new project proposals

• Technical university degree in a relevant engineering field
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar technical lead/engineering coordination role
• Experience working in global environments and coordinating cross-functional teams
• Good understanding of risk and opportunity management
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Experience from the power systems domain
