Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to provide hands-on legal support across tendering and project execution in a complex, contract-heavy environment. You will work closely with stakeholders in Sales, Project Management and Contract Management, supporting compliant and profitable project delivery while managing legal risk.

• Provide legal support in tendering, including drafting, negotiations and internal approvals in line with the tender process
• Support project execution in close cooperation with Sales, Project Management, Contract Management and the project team
• Attend monthly project reviews and advise on contractual and legal matters
• Evaluate requests for tenders and provide input balancing legal, commercial and practical aspects, risks and opportunities
• Support the project team (including contract manager, project manager and project procurement) to execute compliant and profitable projects
• Drive legal risk management activities within your scope
• Provide day-to-day legal counselling on matters such as procurement, NDAs, integrity and Code of Conduct
• Collaborate closely within the Transmission legal team and with colleagues in Corporate Affairs

• 5–8 years of professional experience from a similar role and/or relevant work at an established law firm
• At least 3 years’ experience in an in-house lawyer role within EPCI business
• Strong construction law experience, including FIDIC contracts and other contract forms used within the Nordic countries
• Business-minded, solutions-oriented and hands-on legal advisory approach (in-house mindset)
• Ability to make swift assessments and prioritize
• High integrity and proactive way of working

• Experience with NSC 05
• Elements of business development experience
