Senior Global Finance Process Owner (Commercial Finance)

You will take a leading role in a global transformation where Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Procurement is being implemented to create harmonised, end-to-end commercial finance processes, a unified accounting model, and aligned master data across markets. The assignment focuses on shaping the future global finance blueprint with strong governance, standardisation, and control readiness.

The role is centred on process and accounting design (not technical configuration, custom development, program management, or operational backfill) and includes collaboration with finance leadership and key stakeholders across multiple European markets.

• Define and govern the global standard for end-to-end commercial finance processes
• Design future-state commercial finance processes for Dynamics 365
• Lead the redesign of the Chart of Accounts (CoA) and financial dimensions aligned to a unified commercial accounting model
• Establish harmonised posting logic for key transaction flows
• Drive global harmonisation and standardisation with minimal exceptions, ensuring decisions are documented and approved when required
• Define functional requirements, approvals, internal controls, and reporting needs to support implementation
• Support test scenario definition, acceptance criteria, and validation of solution build outcomes
• Maintain and structure global process documentation (process maps, narratives, governance assets) to ensure accessibility and reuse
• Facilitate workshops and steer decision-making with local CFOs and central stakeholders

• Senior finance background (accounting/controller/finance lead)
• Strong knowledge of Chart of Accounts, posting logic, period close, reconciliations, and reporting
• Proven experience in process design and global harmonisation
• Experience embedding internal controls into end-to-end finance processes
• Experience from large, multinational organisations
• Ability to lead senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a complex transformation environment
• Strong workshop facilitation skills
• High documentation discipline (process maps, narratives, governance assets)

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
• Understanding of transition-phase Dynamics touchpoints
