Automation Engineer

You will join a dedicated engineering team delivering technically complex automation projects within the Life Sciences and pharmaceutical industry. The role combines engineering design with hands-on work through the full project lifecycle—taking solutions from early concept and system design to commissioning and follow-up on site.

You will collaborate closely with project managers, fellow engineers, and customers, contributing to solutions where quality, standards, and safety are central.

• Participate in delivery projects end-to-end, from sales support and concept work to commissioning and aftermarket service
• Develop functional specifications and contribute to system setup, system integration, and programming
• Plan and execute verification and validation activities, including customer testing
• Ensure technical solutions meet requirements for quality, standards, and safety
• Collaborate with project teams and customers in technical meetings and during site visits
• Take ownership of smaller assignments independently or contribute as part of a larger project team

• Engineering education
• Experience in process automation within Life Science, food, pharmaceuticals, or the process industry
• Programming experience and a strong interest in automation and control of industrial processes
• Experience in application programming in 800xA or other DCS platforms with batch functionality
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Class B driving license
