Since 2023, Uponor Infra has been owned by GF (Georg Fischer) and is part of GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions – Business Unit Infrastructure.
In this role, you will lead a multi-site engineering organization that supports the customer-facing engineering journey in an, engineered to order, environment with our Flowise and Stormwise solutions — from solution/application and quotation support to execution engineering and delivery support. Your mission is to strengthen productivity, scalability, and commercial impact through clear ownership, consistent ways of working, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
What you will be doing
- Lead and develop the multi-site Solution Competence Center for the Nordics & Poland, including both solution/application support and execution engineering support.
- Drive sales, productivity and standardization by harmonizing processes, tools, and ways of working across units, supported by clear KPIs (service level, quality, capacity utilization).
- Improve speed, reliability, and transparency in quotation and execution support, and develop scalable solution concepts that simplify delivery in an ETO environment.
- Ensure clear ownership, governance, and interfaces across Sales, Advanced Engineering, and Manufacturing to enable smooth collaboration and predictable delivery.
- Support business development in existing and new markets.
What you will need
- Proven leadership experience in a multi-site and/or matrix setup with direct people leadership responsibility.
- Strong experience driving productivity and standardization (processes, tools, KPIs, governance) while being empathic and smart about regional and local customer needs as well as building a clear understanding of different technical Standard & Approval landscapes
- Solid understanding of customer-facing engineering and execution support in an industrial or project-based environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and fluent English (written and spoken).
- Curious about emerging technologies and modern engineering tools, with a drive to turn new ideas into practical customer relevant improvements.
