Experienced Mechanical Engineer to our new R&D site in Stockholm

We are expaning our Stockholm team and looking for an Experienced Mechanical Engineer to our Multichannel Products department (MCP).

In Stockholm we're a team of 20 passionate engineers of all ages and backgrounds who share a love for technology and solving complex challenges. As an employee of the MCP team, you will participate actively in projects with different challenges and focuses. We often develop completely new products with innovation possibilities. At MCP we develop Multidirectional cameras, Panoramic cameras and Modular cameras.

What you´ll do as an Experienced Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at Axis you will work in cross functional teams to develop new cameras from a concept phase to a complete product. You will have daily collaboration with other mechanical designers, electronics designers, industrial designers, product owners and more. The daily work as a Mechanical Engineer can be anything from creating new concepts, designing mechanical solutions, testing, building prototypes and discussing use cases with people from different disciplines within the company.

As you'll play a key role in developing new products, often from early concept all the way to a finished design, you'll also have a close collaboration with quality engineers, production technicians, suppliers, and other stakeholders when transitioning products into volume production.

We'd love to hear that you have:

• A relevant education in engineering

• At least 3 years of previous experience of product development

• Knowledge of product development for high volume manufacturing that includes injection molding and die casting is highly valued and will be used in your daily work

• Solid experience with 3D CAD (preferably Creo) and PDM systems
