Application Specialist - IT

Hi all,

We are hunting for an Application specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring that our applications and systems within physical protection maintain high availability and function as intended for our users.

In the role of application specialist, you will participate in operations-related activities with a focus on close delivery collaboration with other IT teams such as server and network teams but also external suppliers to ensure the correct availability and quality of the system. You need to be able to see the whole and the connections within IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Management & Problem Resolution
• Analyze, troubleshoot, resolve, and document incidents and problems to ensure stable and efficient system operations.
• Technical Specialist & Point of Contact
• Serve as the primary contact for system-specific issues, providing expert knowledge and sharing technical expertise across teams.
• Business & User Support
• Deliver technical operational support to business users and assist with user-oriented technical challenges in daily operations.
• Change Implementation & Continuous Improvement
• Configure, maintain, and optimize applications while driving development initiatives, upgrades, and maintenance activities. Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects and improvements.
• Documentation & Technical Requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation. Prepare technical specifications, reporting materials, change management documentation, and decision-support data.
• IT Security, Availability & Quality Assurance
• Ensure systems meet high standards for IT security, availability, robustness, and compliance with established policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Technology Monitoring & Innovation Awareness
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, innovations, and potential security threats relevant to the operational environment.
